OVERVIEW

The locals say that Breaza has a similar air quality as in Switzerland. We dont know this for sure but we should find out! Let’s breath some fresh air, get on our bikes and celebrate the opening season together with CarpatBike team.
Breaza is the starting point for easy/moderate hiking and byking routes and one of the closest places from Bucharest you can experience mountain climbing by bike or by foot.

You are welcome all to participate and we do hope it is a good opportunity to plan next outdoor escapes and meet active fellows.

We have prepared a moderate bike tour where you can test your cycling level begining of the season. We will climbe the Talea peak (900 m) and follow the wood path and local roads in Breaza, Talea, Adunati, Ocina and Poiana Campina.
On request, we can organize accommodation in Breaza, if you decide to spend the weekend here.

Our trips are made for tourists with average level of experience who enjoy cycling in a natural and authentic environment. It is not the idea to cycle long distances, but to enjoy in another way the nature.
One or two specialized guides will assist you with technical problems and will give you relevant information about the area, as well as bringing you in contact with the local people.

DAY BY DAY ITINERARY

One day Breaza trip (day 1)

9.30 – meeting at Breaza, in front of the local football stadium
10.00 – beginning of the trip
10.00 – 17.00 – biking trip, following local roads and wood paths via Breaza - Talea – Adunati – Ocina – Poiana Campina - Breaza
•   Estimated duration: 6-7 hours
•   Reaching the Talea peak (900 m)
•   The route does not cross the DN1 road
•   Facilities: bike rental and transport
•   Each participant will receive water and one sandwich from the organizers
•   Local accomodation: in case you choose to stay in Breaza overnight, we can help you with the booking, but pls announce in advance

• Individual travel Insurance or insurance waiver form (compulsory in order to be accepted for the tour, for foreign tourists)
