Overview
- Embark on a 7-day journey to explore Transylvania’s most iconic UNESCO cultural heritage sites and the breathtaking landscapes of the Carpathian Mountains.
- Immerse yourself in the rich history, vibrant culture, and charming countryside of Romania’s historic regions.
- Savor the flavors of authentic local gastronomy.
The Rucar-Bran corridor serves as a natural boundary between the Bucegi Mountains and Piatra Craiului, connecting the historic regions of Muntenia and Transylvania. Spanning 22.5 km, this picturesque route features captivating landscapes, fresh mountain air, and serene surroundings that exude charm throughout every season.
The rivers originating from the Fagaras, Piatra Craiului and Leaota Mountains have carved narrow, deep valleys into the limestone, creating the country’s largest and most spectacular network of gorges within a compact area. Among them, the Dâmbovicioara Gorges stand out for their rugged wilderness and unique beauty.
Nestled at the base of Piatra Craiului, the villages of Dâmbovicioara, Ciocanu, Sirnea, Fundata, and Pestera have preserved centuries-old traditions, offering an idyllic backdrop for hiking and mountain biking adventures.
We invite you to join us for 2-3 days of medium-difficulty mountain biking, covering routes of 25 to 55 km per day with elevation gains between 600 and 1300 meters. These trails are designed exclusively for MTB and E-MTB bikes.
